Samir Pilankar is specialized in arthroscopy & joint replacement surgeries. He is one of the few surgeons in India performing revision arthroscopy and arthroplasty surgeries with excellent results. He is truly a master of the art of minimally invasive technique in arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery, resulting in less blood loss and faster recovery. After receiving his fellowship in Arthroscopy and Joint Replacement Surgery from the renowned centers in Europe – Switzerland, Germany and France, he has successfully performed over 2000 arthroscopic surgeries including Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Reconstructions, Menisectomies, Rotator Cuff Repair, Shoulder Acromioplasty, etc. In addition to his dedication to this specialization, he is also Honorary surgeon at Cooper hospital, Mumbai and is whole-heartedly involved in teaching students and residents the art of Arthroscopy and Joint replacement surgery.
